Elite cannot be compared with WC or Freespace. Up to today, there is
no game that can match the vastness of the universe created by
Elite's author, D. Braben. The universe of Elite is so large, with so
many starsystems and planets, it would be very difficult to visit
each one. The purpose in Elite is not to shoot and kill, but to earn
money by trading and get status by finishing missions.
Thank God that this game got converted to MSX (as it was to almost
every 80s system...:)
