:Wow! We agree on a name before we even read each other's proposals...

Nope, we don't.

:>How about making a small name competition?
:
:Nah. It's too much trouble and it takes too long.

Well, 'till now, the only suggestions are JoyCom and JoyNet.
Other suggestions can be done at [EMAIL PROTECTED] , but I'll change the
date... You can suggest a name 'till the 20th of august, after that, I'll
put a vote-page on my homepage.

:I was thinking of dedicating some WWW pages to the project. For now, it
:could contain an archive of all the hardware designs and assembly sources.
:Later a list of games and utils could be added.
:Anyway, the WWW page would be much easier to refer to if the project has a
:name.

Take a look at the section dedicated to it on my homepage! I refer to it as
JoyCom there, although the name is far not sure yet.

:>One more thing. How about the intellectual rights and copyrights for the
:>hardware design, the protocols, the software drivers, etc. As this is a
:>public project, I propose to make it completely free.
:
:All work done on this list should be free.

I think discussing this is bullshit, for the data about a standard CAN'T BE
ANYTHING ELSE, else it wouldn't be a standard. And we're making it a
standard so that ppl don't have to buy a new cable for every game, eh?

By the way, I also think utils should be free, but err... free games? Well,
perhaps a TRIPLEX-like game... Anyway, I'm not going to produce it.
