You can change that by using the parameter "-msx1".
At least in the DOS port of fMSX, this disables all the expanded
slots in the emulation.
In general, most games from funet are buggy. Some of them have bad
loaders that refuse to run in MSX with RAM in slot 2 (like "Oh Shit!"),
and some of then just don't work at all!! (like "Ulises").
Why don't we fix all these games? I already fixed the game
"Ulises", you can get a full working version at:

The original version for Spectrum actually has a opening screen,
it's very easy to rip the screen by using a spectrum emulator and add it
to the MSX distribution.
Almost all of the spectrum-converted games lost something in the
MSX. For example, the game "Robocop" has some speech in the original, and
it's not present in the MSX version.
