I agree. But I think it is also possible with this proposed standard, right?
That is, the basic engine should not to be modified, just expanded.

EVERYBODY has joystick ports, but what percent of people has MIDI interface?
Besdies making the cable is very very easy in this way. So, I bet for the
joystick standard! And for the starting of a new era in the double-play
games, it was time!!
