Here are some idea's about the color burst :
As far as I know you can adjust the color burst phase with it.
(Carrier that is send for a small time during horizontal sync to be able to
demodulate the color information)
If you have a RGB connection to your monitor, this would have no meaning.
If a CVBS or RF connection is used, it COULD result in losing or disturbing
the color information on your TV... (no damage)
Probably it is only usefull for measuring purposes. (see if the PLL in the
TV can lock to the color burst signal)
At least for RGB this register doesn't make any sense.
The times I tested this I hadn't studied electronics, so I didn't knew what
to look for. I only used a RGB monitor. With a RGB monitor the color
signal is directly on the RGB pins and not modulated in the video signal.
If I have some time, I will measure it... Although, it's probably not very
usefull. (Software that is monitor/TV dependant???????? Who want's that?)

:Yeah, for example the V9938's color burst registers... Some people say
:they are useless and some say they use it for nice effects. Who's wrong?
:Who's right?
I bet they're not useless, nut how to use them???
If someone could tell me... would be great!
