Ok, thank you all for your support trying to find out what could be wrong with my Turbo R with Novaxis that didn't like CDROM player! After an unsuccesful attempt with another CD player, there must be something else wrong. I tried a different flatcable and, suprise, it worked! So all that trouble was caused by a connector not sitting correct on the flatcable! I have to blame it on myself instead of on that MSX! Next time I will try all possiblities before pestering half of the MSX-world. (I am lucky having all that stuff sitting here! A lot of hobbyists have to find out wat is wrong with there stuff without having all kind of spares to try) Next project is getting a flatbed scanner working on that MSX! (I have a handscanner interface for MSX on the 8250, but like to scan color pictures) The scanner is already working on 2 different PC's, one with the original supplied interface card and the other with a Buslogic PCI SCSI controller (I used the CDROM from this PC to try on the MSX) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------ Greetings and till mail!
