The reason that I am writing again about CDROM connected to Novaxis is that
on my Turbo R with Gouda SCSI with Novaxis 1.1 ROM, I can't get the CDROM
working:
In the documentation that is with Henrik Gilvad's MSXCDEX utilities it says
that the CDROM has to be connected as SCSI-id 2. IT DOESN'T WORK! The
message is NO CDROM CONNECTED. The CDROM is recognised with id HD on
SCSI-id 2. It is a 6 speed Toshiba CDROM. I had difficulty making the CDROM
recognisable, but after I checked the ID on a PC and connecting an extra
SCSI terminator it was recognised. When I use SWAP for swapping partitions
on drives it says Unrecognised Media. using the same command on SCSI-id 5
(the ZIP) the command worked, so syntax is correct.
Can anybody help me?
