  You can use the JPD (is going to you directly). In MSXDOS2 prompt
  you type "JPD filename.JPG" or "JPD *.JPG" for see all JPEGs on
  directory. After load (can consume some minutes... principally in
  a MSX2+) you can "walk" in image pressing the UP or DOWN cursor 
  keys, or (like BLS and others japanese Image viewers) press 
  L (Left), M (Middle) and R(Right) to align the file. When picture
  in a GOOD position you press CTRL+G to generate a DUMP of screen
  in disk (verify if you have at least 128Kb free on disk).

  For more information read the JPD.DOC in original archive or type
  JPD without arguments.

  I can generate nice pictures with this method. And I had load
  512Kb JPEG in my Turbo R (I'm crazy! I know!)... =8^)
