Hi all,
here is the FINAL VERSION of the compo rules, i hope! I also hope that no
more changes will be requested 'couse if we continue this way the compo will
never start.

1) No ML allowed:
- Bload with ,r is not allowed
- Usr is totally not allowed
- Call not allowed
- Poke & peek not allowed.
2) Basic accelerator:
- not allowed if they don't come with the standard you are using (msx
1/2/2+ or tr)
3) MSX Systems (on wich the demo have to run to be in the compo):
- MSX 1 64Kb ram with tape or disk
- MSX 2 64Kb ram - 128Kb Vram - one 720 disk - 3.57Mhz Z80A - DOS 1
- MSX 2+ same as MSX 2, but use of Call Kanji and Call Ank allowed.
- Turbo R 256kB RAM, R800-mode, DOS2, FM-PAC
4) Memory: CTRL pressed.
5) Sections (like PC demo compo):
- One-Line: exactly ONE line of BASIC, no other files allowed.
- Ctrl : As long as it fits in the bytes free after boot with CTRL
pressed, no other files allowed.
- Disk : max 720kb. More than one file allowed.
- All the BAS files must be unprotected.
- Multiple contributions from one person for a specific category allowed.
6) Music:
- only the standard built-in hardware is allowed (Psg, Fm-Pac, Pcm, ...).
7) Ftp & Web (i must ask to Tristan and NYYRIKKI):
- Upload to ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/msx/incoming/compo
- Send also a description to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject:Basic Compo
- all the demos must be uploaded in one file. If a demo is more than one
file it must be compatted in one file in lha or pma format.
- Web: www.clinet.fi/~nyke/basic_compo (i hope that Nyyrikki will get the
demos from the ftp)
8) Date:
- deadline: 24th of February 24:00
- all the demos uploaded after the deadline will be deleted
- upload con start 1st of February 0:00
- you can download from 25th 0:00 of Februry to 1st 24:00 of March
- dowloand before the 25th of February is denied.
- results on the web page and ftp in txt fromat at least on 3rd nigth
9) Prizes:
- 1st prize: everlasting fame
- 2nd prize: fame that lasts for 3 years
- 3rd prize: fame that lasts for 1 year
10) Voters & votes:
- Everybody that can view the demos.
- you can vote from 25th 0:00 of februry to 1st 24:00 of March all the
votes received before thi dates will be deleted.
- Send a message containg your votes, one demo per section, at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
