Hello Everybody,

With all this talk about different SCSI interfaces and
devices and how it all works, I was wondering if it
could be a good idea to make a little FAQ about.

I had the following subjects in mind (in random order):

MSX SCSI FAQ:

-the existing interfaces.
-the differences between them
-where to buy
-how to connect ZIP drives, harddisks, cd-rom
-where to find drivers and bios updates
-Problems with the different SCSI interfaces
-How to avoid/solve those problems
-SCSI utilities. Which ones works with wich interfaces and must haves.

Most of these subjects have been discussed before so it shouldn't
be much work. If everyone with knowlegde of one of
the above mentioned subjects picks that subject it's done before
you know it. In this way we have a nice new doc for msx users and
it helps answering the same questions over and over again.

If I had any good knowledge about the above subjects, this faq was
already done.

I'm willing to make a new section at www.msx.org for this documentation
and -hopefully- future ones.

All people involved will be mentioned in the documentation with
direct email/url links on the page.

How about it?

Greetings,

Sander
