That depends. If the game is written by MSX standards, it will work.
I've tested in my slot 3-1:
King's Valley 2 - works (with SCC)
Salamander - works (with SCC)
Probably, most Konami games work in any slot configuration. I've
heard of some bad ones though. E.g.: Solid Snake seems to not
work in any subslot.
