In Russia, writing such sort of programs was fairly popular. I know at least 3 or 4
NC-like shells. Unfortunately due to the lack of hardware documentation many of
them can only work on the most common hardware combination i.e. memory in
slot 3-2, 128K of mapper, etc. etc.
