For usenet, there are two options:
1) Make comp.sys.msx moderated. I haven't been able to read the newsgroup for
about a year now, so I haven't got the slightest idea how much spamming
(apart from that of Replay copy-club) is going on there. If there's a
lot of spamming going on: this could be an answer.
2) Work out how the kill option in your newsreader works. Doesn't stop the
spamming from happening, but you won't notice it anymore.
