Hello to all the true believers of the MSX:
(that is, any MSX freak)

After many messages reading things about creating miriads of
new MSX generations with plenty MHz of speed and Gbytes of
RAM -by the way, have you considered WHO would
programme such monsters? Or maybe those huge chunks of
silicium would be intelligent enough that could auto-programme
auto-itself?-, I was more and more concerned with a thing which
as obvious it can be, it is often forgotten: the programmes.

Problem: I believe there's a mismatch with the creations that
programmers are doing and the programmes that common users
would expect for sale.
While on games there's a fault of imagination, specially
Dutch ones (somebody will make roll my head)), in a range
very near to a coma -but they still are released-, on the
field of utilities the problem is that there are very few.
All this without counting hard expansions -extremely-
misused like on the case of RAM expansions, V9958, R800...

Idea: Make a survey, and to publish the results for maybe
any creator would get an idea from there to develop his next
product. At least, the users would had given their opinion to
a thing that concerns them: the programmes THEY buy (and
how they want them to be!)

If you regard this idea as ludicrous, or even childish, simply do
not answer it.

WHAT I'M ASKING YOU
---------------------------------------
To fill it and to drop it on my personal e-mail:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I suggest to NOT sending the answers to the MSX Mailing List
in order to avoid to fill it with unnecessary messages.
The personal likes and dislikes contained are confidential, so
do not worry about. You can even write with alias.
The total results will be published on this list at the end of
august.

WHAT'S NOT THIS
-------------------------------
This is NOT made for knowing personal tastes of each person
that has answered it.
This is NOT a census of MSXers.
This is NOT a platform for people eager to ask a working Win95
(ha!) for MSX, or a UNIX platform. That is, DO NOT ASK THE
MOON.
Remaining programmers are normal people that knows to make
-more or less- some things and that have more or less time for
making them real. And those who cannot see it, should buy
thick glasses.
We have made (but above all, we have said) a lot of stupidities,
so, time to turn serious, at least about this Re:

THE SURVEY
(Come on! Answer it!!! ;)

1) User's Country (and City)
(Tell the city and country)
2) MSX Configuration
3) What's your frequency of purchase of programmes?
4) What do you prefer to do?
        Play Programme Utilities Hardware

5) What kind of games/utilities/programming/Hard do you use
habitually?

6) What genre of games already made do you miss?
(I.e., more Nemesis, more RPGs, in few words, remakes...)

7) What kind of games would you like to have and you have
never seen'em on MSX?

8) What are the utilities -already made- that you miss on MSX?
(I.e., Compressors...)

9) What kind of utilities would you like to have and you have
never seen on MSX?

10) What hard ampliations would you like to be more used by
programmers?

11) Are you disposed to ampliate your machine if the
requirements asked by the games/utilities would raise? In which
amount?

Thank you very much for your time.
