A hardware copy protection is not a real problem for an emulator. Since an 
emulator is a piece of software emulating a box of hardware, that copy 
protection hardware device can be emulated as well. Write once, copy 
everywhere...

Though, I do agree on the main issue that we simply should not buy CD's with 
illegal software. If you want to spent money on software, then make sure that 
the money goes to the developers of the software. Not to the pirates.
