  Well, it's a PATCH! :)

I try a MSX with CD-ROM driver in MegaSCSI, it runs nice. You can
run MSXCDEX at each CD change for the driver adjust some paramters.
I don't know if anybody said but CDs has a 2048 bytes sector...

I found in the directories for ATARI ST in FUNET a patch for make the
same thing that we are thinking to do, the name of file is
"bigdos08.lzh". Well, Atari ST are a 68k plataform and MSX is Z80. I
know but the TOS is only a "pretty-name" of CP/M 68000. The author
may be live in Germany (I can't confirm it) and can help us with some
ideas and triks for use ISO9293 File System partitions (DOS >32Mb).

The trick used by ESE programmers is fantastic but they don't like to
reply e-mails (principally non-japanese e-mails). The first thing to
contact Tsujikawa and (I forgot the other guy) is found a japanese
  for work like a translator.

Another thing, actually we has a lot of SCSI interfaces and at least
two IDE interfaces. I believe that each interface works with
proprietaries and exclusive PORT Address and routines. Well, We must
think in a way to make programs for any interface, like a API.

  End.
