Try mailing Marcel Delorme.
He calls me about every month to tell me that he improved the
replayer with again some 10 cycles or so. Last I heard he got
moonblaster running on the interrupt of the Moonsound itself.
This has the effect that it consumes more cpu time but has a higher
accuracy and could play more notes/sec.
He is the guy who knows.
Search for 'nwo' or 'doublem'.
