MSX people of the World,

>>Here in Brazil we were discussing about using NE2000 in MSXs, too.
>>But the discussion has stopped, unfortunately.
> Connecting NE2000 card to MSX is _absolutely_no_problem_.
> Writing drivers is a BIG problem... Anyone saw docs on NE2000?

The idea discussed in Brazil is for use the NE2000 board chipset
to make a Ethernet cartridge. And port NETBIOS for MSX-DOS2.

Why NETBIOS? Simple, NETBIOS has developed by IBM (ouch!) and by
Microsoft (ouch 2!) for create networking facilities or MS(PC)-DOS.
Is is very documenteded and you can connect your MSX in Windows 95,
  OS/2 and Linux machines.

For access the NE2000, I can try to acquire ASM routines for PC
  with a teacher...
