Isn't BASCOM a BASIC compiler?
If I remember right, it is, but it can't compile "advanced" MSX
BASIC commands, like LINE, SCREEN, PUTSPRITE, etc.
If you are interested, you can download MOZART, a MSX BASIC
compiler, from my page. The manual is in portuguese, but it's very simple
to use (it's like using M80 and L80). It can compile all BASIC commands,
except any "ON ... GOSUB" interrupts.
