People,

Some friends (all brazilians ) tell about Carchano's conversion
Kits. The first model has developed in middle 87. The actual
kit is a total replacement for the Expert motherboard. Then you
  can be a Expert (originally MSX1) converted to a MSX2+ with 4
internal slots, one SIMM 30 pin conector and optionmally DOS2,
FM and SCC. (OPLL, SCC can be provided by the owner).

But the best Carchano board is the ACE Project (is a project
because he don't finish yet). Is a MSX board with Z80 running
in 7Mhz (or more!!!), four SIMM 30 pins connectors and eight
  slots (1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3). This board
has developed to be inserted in PC cases (is the same size of
a PC386 board). This board only contains Z84, PSG and PPI, the
VDP (and sub-ROM) will be a cartridge and the keyboard is an
Expert keyboard unit (but can be changed for use PC keyboards).

I knew this board in the last Brasilia meeting.

  Bye!
