You will always have color spill, that is a property of screen 12. The
conversion program makes a screen 12 version of a picture which looks
pretty good, but it can never be perfect.
Have you seen the FF7 slideshow on the FutureDisk about half a year ago?
Those pictures were converted with that program.

It is a small QuickBasic program. I can compile it for you.
By the way, I got the formulas for the conversion from Hans Schoormans from
Compjoetania (the old generation).

There is nothing wrong with developing MSX stuff on a PC. They even have a
word for it: cross-development. On the PSX, everyone works in this way.
