Hi folks!
I recently copied Ashton-Tate's dBase II (the DOS-2 version) from
the MCCM-CD-ROMs and found it a quite useful program. But I have a
few questions about it and I wonder if someone can help me out.
Everytime the program is executed it turns on the cursor constantly
so that the screen-output is slowed down drastically. Is there a way
to undo or prevent this?
Secondly, various keys on the keyboard seem to have other functions
than they are supposed to. For example, the right and left cursor
keys are reversed, backspace acts like cursor left, and delete acts like
backspace. I tried the install-program, but as far as I understand
it, it doesn't allow me to redefine the keys. Is there a way (some patch
perhaps?) to make this right?
