In the Netherlands. Hick-ups in the internet mail system are quite normal.
The system has never been designed to be fast. It has only been designed to
be reliable and persistent. For example, most mail delivery agents try to
deliver a message to the pop server of the intended recipient for a period of
5 days. If that fails, a message is sent back to the originator of the
message telling that the message could not be delivered.
So, please be patient when sending mail to some system on the internet. In
most cases the message will be delivered at some moment in the future or you
will be notified that delivery was not possible.
