Hi All!
I have bought a NMS 8245 with a broken drive. At startup the drive isn't
running.
But I found out the drive has a little switch which can detect a disk.
If there is no
disk the drive won't run. When I do put in a disk, the drive will run,
but the disk
isn't spinning. The snare is slipping, probably because it's old. I
suspect this is
the only problem, but I can't be too sure, because I've never seen the
drive working.
I went to a shop with all kind of spare parts and they also sold snares.
But the
price was NLG 11,95! That's more than I paid for the computer. So before
buying
it, I would like too ask if somebody knows a way to get a snare for less
money.
(Yes, I'm from Holland and I want to save money whenever I can! :-) )
