] Yes, it's true.
] Z80 is part of the S1990 engine, R800 is a seperate IC.
As far as I know, the Z80 is build into the TC9769 MSX engine. The S1990 is 
only used as a bus controller. Among others to slow down the R800 when it is 
accessing the perifery too fast.
