I don't know about BERT SCSI interface, but if you had a Mega-SCSI, you
can have up to 256 partitions of 32 Mb each: 256 x 32 Mb = 8 Gb. And 7 SCSI
devices, so... 7 x 8 Gb = 56 Gb!!!!!
