A few days ago, an friend of my told me that he saw something about
Compjoetania TNG on the newsgroup and that I should have a look.

What I saw wasn't very good .. :-(

So before I start commenting what I saw I would firstly like to express
my sencirest apologies to all the people who felt offended, I think of
people like Bart Roymans, Ruud vd Moosdijk, etc..
I'm really sorry for the fact that I obseted them, I never intended to.

As for the reactions.
1) If they say that our homepage is quite dead. Well ,they are right. We
prefer to spend the little time we all have at programming instead of
updating our site. I hereby think especially at the work that Jon did,
thanks to him the SUNRISE IDE is fixed (the software AND the hardware)
and Compass 1.2 came out.

2)The only traitor expression I've ever used was ment as a joke,
DEFINITELY NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Some of you did :-(
The meaning intended was more kind of: "You shouldn't leave MSX, it's a
fun system, and if you do don't start en mass to sell your MSX'es,
you'll regret it later"

3)About those sources: From the first pick-them-up-fair I definitely
didn't know anything. I remember that at some point in time I would get
them at a fair, but at that fair Remco still wanted to rewrite some of
the documentation (or something) and that if I waited they would send
them to me by e-mail. Later Eric even did make me sign some (in my
opinion stupid, sorry for ventilating my personal opinion here)
contracts about taking over Compass. It stated things like that C-TNG
never could let the price drop below the original 49.95 Guilders they
asked for Compass 1.0 etc.

One of the mails read:
>plain simple just to lazy to come and pick them up, and
It ISN'T evident that someone from Belgium has to travel across the
border to get the sources. Wich however I DID !! Signing tose
Eric-papers and to get some backups of other products like JoS (and
taking over Hans' Moonsound the same day...). At that day the sources
weren't available. We agreed (again)that Eric would send them by e-mail,
something quite logical in these modern electronic days I think. Wel it
never happened. I tried several times to contact Eric with no succes, he
didn't respond.

I feel just a litle disapointed in smooth-mouthed Eric, who after all
was my contact-person with compjoetania.
I don't hold anything against the old Compjoetania members. I have very
fond memories about that time, which I don't want to ruin by something
stupid as the bad communication about one product in the end.
I stil mis those people on the MSX-scene. Eric van Beurden, Bart
who-in-my-opinon-was-the-best-MSX-composer-ever Roymans, Dave Groenen
(Did he move to the states finally?), Patrick Gijsbers, Remo
the-tall-one Jongeneelen, Hans -mathematics- Schoormans were great
people to hang out with. (and to eat steppegras with :-) )

Again I apology for all the wrong feelings I may have caused by some
people.

Sincerly yours,
David Heremams
