Check out HelpPC, it's old but it holds a lot of information about
PC basics, also how a DOS filesystem works. I used the data in here to write
a program to extract files from a MSX-diskimage.
Where to download: I don't know exactly, just go to
http://www.filez.com and enter HELPPC21, it'll give you quite some URL's to
download from.
