If you asume that everything on the MCCM-cd's is pd that would mean that
all Konami games on the CD are PD also ....   
I think you're being a litle to optimistic here.
Wammes and the others stated clearly that they have a lot of contracts
somewhere in a safe making it legal to collect a lot of those softs on
the CD. But if the soft isn't in the PD/shareware dirs the copyrights
are (well, "were" at the time of pressing) still valid.

I read that acording to Arnaud de Klerk it (ted) is now shareware. Could
somebody confirm this please. 
However I fully agree with Lauren Holst on this case: Please donate
something (preferably money ;) to the Multiple Sclerose Stichting if
you're going to use Ted.
