V9958 in Sony G900P

Hi folks,

Is there anyone with experience in replacing the V9938 by a V9958 in the
Sony 
G900p? I'm asking that, because I want to know whether the SuperImpose 
function and the Genlock and digitise (with the Videotiser) functions will 
still be working after such an operation....
