Some tips...
Get the flying cap as soon as you can!
When you enter a screen for the first time the position where you kill
the baddies defines what kind of item you get. E.g. if you kill a baddie
which produces an item on the right side of the screen it will not
always be the same item as you get when shooting the baddie on the left
side of the screen.
Hit the baddies with a minimum of bullets. There are certain items you
need to continue (e.g. transporter item, makes you sink through the
floor and re-appear in another room). If you shoot to much the item
won't appear or in the wrong place!
