I have found an old implementation of the Z-machine for MSX. In fact,
the program is called Z-machine in honour of the old adventure game
"Zork", which was the first using it. So, the implementation I found is
on the MSX version of the Zork games.

Zork has 2 files: ZORK.COM and ZORK.DAT . Zork.com is the interpreter
who tries to execute the zork.dat file. So, just put a Z-file on the
same directory of ZORK.COM, rename the file to ZORK.DAT and... voila, it
runs... sometimes.

I think that ZORK.COM executes only Z-files version 3. Actual Inform
compilations produce higher versions (6 or 7 I believe). Well, I will
download .Z3 files of ftp.wustl.edu/doc/misc/if-archive and try them
with MSX.

Finally, a question... there is somebody in the mailing list who loves
text adventures? Am I the only one? 8-)

And... there is some program like the spectrum PAWS? Which language
has been used to program MSX adventures like "Fahrenheit 451" or "Perry
Mason"?
