        I think that MSX shows the number in scientific notation when it's
"too big". I don't have my MSX here right now to test, but I think that
when number is minor than 32768, it's shown as normal, when from 32767 to
65535, followed by a "!" and when DEFDBL or DEFSNG and bigger than 65535,
shown in scientific notation.
        Some tests with BASIC could solve this problem...
