Sorry, mistake... reading it once will do just fine.
(That's because it contains some bits which are always set to 0. When all
bits of the statusregister are used like on the v9958, you'll have to read
the it twice to be sure (to reset any interrupt-bits)(no need using this way
on a v9938/58 by the way).)
