I have build some cables in the past  and the 1084 does not use seperate
sync.
the amiga has a seperate sync output but also a composite sync output.
and the composite sync output is used for the 1084s , for msx the only
problem is that you need a comp. sync. with a 5V level
some 1084S have a scart connector , then there will be no problem
ofcourse.
