It's so simple: it's a linear DAC (very similar to PCM turbo-r) using
the address 4000h as out port. To make the conversion, you only have
to change LD (4000h),A -> OUT (0A4),A (look for 32 00 40 and write
00 D3 A4 instead).
And don't forget to initialize the PCM port before:
LD A,3
OUT (0A5h),A
