I had the same problem in Tilburg last year. But for the Bussum fair I solved
it: I just went to a supermarket with a 25 NLG note and swapped it for 10
pieces of 2,50 coins! Easy huh! (And now I hope you make the price 7,50, so I
can spare another 2,50! ;-)
