I want exted more and explain rigth over the concept involving in me Design
Achitecture as one FAQ questionarie:
OVER LPE-Z380-V2 card with MSX only.
Q: Is one complete system (motherboard with I/O as MSX3) ?
A: No
Q: Is posible executing directly old programs with I/O as games ?
A: No
Q: : Is posible executing news programs using all I/O of MSX with uper 600%
or more fast and using new instructions and lineal memory ?
A: Yes (Using MSX as Server. It as been demostred in last Tilburg Fair).
Q: Is posible execute programs for boost the MSX as MIF files.
A: Yes
Q: Is posible the use in BASIC programs ?.
A: Yes (Have 7 extended CALL BASIC Instructions).
Q: Wath is the LPE-Z380-V2 card ?.
A: Is mainly one SDP Slot Direct Processor as actual Pentium cards. What
is posible too to use and conect to MSX with one edge conector adapter.
Q: Because the LPE-Z380-V2 card no have Z180 or eZ80 ?.
A: Is mainly because its have 8 bits Data Bus and limited address bus
capacity.
OVER LPE-EVOLUTION4-V1 expansor with MSX only.
Q: Is one motherboard with I/O ?
A: No is only one motherboard, as base plate in PCs .
Q: Is posible use it as one est�ndar expansor ?
A: Yes. All EVOLUTION4 has been sell for me in last Tilburg Fair for use
with est�ndar card.
Q: What others features have ?
A: Buit in slots generators and DMA ready. 16M directions and 16 bits Data
bus.
Q: Is possible mixing card of 8 Bits, 16 Bits and 16 Mdirecctions with
standard ?
A: Yes.
Q: Is ready for traslate the internal ROMS and I/O ?
A: Yes.
OVER LPE-Z380-V2 + LPE-EVOLUTION4-V1 expansor with MSX.
Q: Is posible traslate all I/O at the exparsor ?
A: Yes, but the people do no want it now, because it is very spensive and
he have inside your MSX . Only the habitual externar card as Monsound, HD
controller, digitizer.for the moment.
Q: Is posible to the Z380 to see ROMs and I/O in the exparsor as Z80 ?
A: Yes, the LPE-Z380-V2 can configure as Z80 with 16K slots and others
signal as MREQ no present in the Z380 Chip.
Q: Mush be are posible executing directly old programs with I/O as games ?
A: Yes.
Q: Is posible make power emulators and OS.
- A: Yes.
AND AT LAST.
Q: What has been me objetive ?
A: Create one new system based in Z380, and Open the way for one medium
cost migration path of MSX platform.
