SVHS is a better quality way of showing video on a monitor than the more
common composite video (color and brightness combined.
SVHS separates color (still PAL or NTSC encoded) and brightness information
on two lines.
RGB is even better quality because every color and the sync each have their
own lines.
So it depends on your monitor! And ofcourse whether the monitor and your MSX
share the same video encoding method (either PAL or NTSC).
With RGB the color is not encoded, so that is the only method for a Japanese
devices like the FS* MSX computers and European PAL tv's and monitors to
show color.
