Seriously, I'd like programming to be focused
on supporting the largest possible user base.
Translating: don't use a feature if you can
live without it. If you're about to write a
Disk Copier, for example, don't make it only
for MSX2+ because of some fancy GUI. If you
intend to write a Text Processor, why wasting
processor power writing it only for TurboR
because of heavy graphics? Go text!

Users don't need fanciness. But some users do
*want* fanciness -- the programmers could add
extra features for those lucky ones with
enough hardware. :)

Think how ridiculous it would be if a
spreadsheet had an error beep which only
played with MSX-MIDI... The programmer
should at least provide support for PSG! :P~

Yes, that would be great. I'm glad most
people don't fall for the temptation of
programming only for >=MSX2+.
