A friend of mine told me the virus was destructive.
I looked it up and not one site mentions that it destroys data nor sends
info to an IRC server or something like that. So I'm sorry, but I don't buy
it. Mere speculations, imho. Like 'I heard from a friend of mine that his
uncle told him that his son...'

And besides, even if it were true. They must get hundreds of passwords per
minute on that IRC channel this way, seeing the speed with which the virus
spreads. The dataflow to this channel would be HUGE (certainly when it would
also log the keys). The chance that they pick my passwords out of all those
other ones... it's minimal. Also, there are very little useful passwords for
them to check. I never automatically remember passwords in IE, and the
login-passwords of my provider are quite useless to them.

Anyways, I rather trust the websites of the antivirus-developers.

By the way, it was a very nice virus... The size was very small and it still
gave a nice effect. Also, it made a backup of the modified system-file
(hah!). And last but not least, if you only delete the files and not the
registery entries, you are permanently protected against Happy99!!! (since
it checks the registery first to see if it's already there before it copies
itself).

I really like this virus :)

And for the people who wanted to have it (but for some reason didn't receive
it): I don't have it anymore. But there are several big virus-archives on
the internet. I suggest you check out one of those.
