Now that I am in this mailing list, here is some news from MSX Games
Are Back and things I am looking for the future development of the
site:
* Beside the 300 games that are directly downloadable from the site,
I've created a new section called 'Games on Request' where visitors
can download an Excel file regrouping more than 1800 MSX games ...
they just have to e-mail me with their request. Yes, it is a big step
forward in terms of number of games now available.
* I've also created some time ago a section called 'game covers'
which has now some 60 different titles. I am trying to make this
section larger and hope to get at 200 covers before X-Mas 2000 ... if
you have any, please send them directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* The link towards 'MSX Talk Forum' has been deleted due to the
failure of this web-based MSX discussion group.
* I have some new ideas in mind for the coming months, the site will
continue to be 100% MSX games focused. It attracts between 100 and
150 unique visitors each day and I am thinking of setting up a domain
name for it ... more news this summer. If you have any suggestions,
they're welcome. One thing is for sure, it won't be
msxgamesareback.com !
* As I suggested to Rafael Lima, I will back up his TOP MSX GAMES
LIST ... because it is important to newcomers to the MSX get
immediately the best games rightaway so they can have a positive
image about it. I guess if a newcomer downloads first TZR Grand Prix,
he would think Shit about the MSX! Isn't it?
* About the highscores ... there seems to be some discussions about
games you've finished or not... well, take a screenshot next time and
send in your scores to me so I can include them in the High-Scores
section. Actually there are some 40 to 50 high-scores to beat ... but
I've had few players lately.
