Translation:
The manufacturer (Sanyo) was rather careless when designing the
sound circuit, cq. placing the parts on the boards, on the
NMS 82xx series. This can result in heavily distorted sound,
especially when an FM-PAC is inserted.
Check the following and replace where necessay:
- On the motherboard:
* C119, this is an electrolytic capacitorand therefore
direction sensitive. The indication on the mother-
board is wrong (+ and - swapped) and the capacitor
is usually mounted according to the indication.
Solution: remove, swap and replace
* R174, this resistor should have a value of 910 Ohm,
Sometimes a resistor of 2700 Ohm is placed. Replace
R714 or mount an extra resistor of 1500 Ohm parallel
to the existing one.
- On the analog board:
* In the 825x, 2 100 Ohm resistors are mounted: R428 and R429.
These should be electrolytic capacitors, 100uF/10V, each,
mounted with the negative pin towards connector AB.
* In the 8280, 1 100 Ohm resistor, R426, is mounted.
This should be an electrolytic capacitor of 100uF/10V.
- If the sound fades away in regular intervals of a few seconds,
when an FM-PAC is placed, replace the voltage stabilizer of -12V
by one of type 7912/1A
