        I would like to announce a new release of UZIX and its TCP/IP
stack.
        The news about UZIX are:

        . Enhanced versions of clock and telnet; 
        . Added three new programs: slattach, pppd, ftp; 
        . Kernel bugfix in CONTROL+C handler and stack; 
        . Kernel enhancement in module handling (speeding up TCP/IP Stack); 
        . ZILO bugfix (was showing wrong MSX version); 
        . Standard library enhancement (system calls library modularized); 
        . Kernel size enhancement (decreased a bit); 

        The news about UZIX TCP/IP Stack are:

        . PPP layer implementation; 
        . Three new applications (slattach, pppd, ftp); 
        . Correct implementation of 'local echo' in telnet; 
        . Serial speed of PPP/SLIP layer is choosen by user; 
        . TCP layer enhancement (speed increased, size decreased); 
        . Overall system performance increase (local ping speeded up by 80%); 
        . TCP/IP library modularization; 
        . Library read/write routines bugfix; 
        . TCP layer bugfix for SYN packets with data; 
        . Included in UZIX TCP/IP Guide how to connect UZIX to a Windows-box;
