According to manual you can connect also Pioneer LD-1100. But I haven't
seen any LD-1100 players with the needed control jack. Besides, LD-700
is _lot_ better and reliable than LD-1100... You can get LD-700 players
from USA, they're cheap there, but shipping is expensive... If you
order any players from USA remember to say that sender TURNS the
shipping screw to LOCKED position!

I got my player unlocked and it was in terrible condition, I had to
fix it 2 days before it runned again...

Yes, with good luck and connections to Japan you may find disks, but
they're rare also there. And unfortunately they're also expensive,
price varies from 80-120 USD per disk + shipping costs.

I have seen them for sale only once during 1 year in the www.yahoo.co.jp.
