Hmm. Thanx. Now i know i don't have to try that.

Where can i find this tool? Is it only IDE or does it also work with SCSI
devices?

(The text underneath is ment to explain why i would like a partitionized
disc, you might want to skip it.)

I have a SCSI equipment connected to the MSX by a bert interface. AFAIK this
interface cannot access a cd-rom device by using drive-assignments, only
with the following tools:
* ccopy.com which copies files from cd-rom to a drive
* ccd.com which changes the actual directory on the cd-rom
* cdda.com which starts/stops .. audio discs
Since i find this method a bit, yeah, ('omslachtig' is the dutch word), too
difficult, too much work, i would like to access CD-Roms in an easier way.
I started thinking about a 'partitionized cd-rom'. In my view that means
that i should have a disk image of a partitionized cd-rom with software, and
then burn that image to a disc.

Making a disc image of a 32MB FAT12 partition is no problem, concatting them
isn't too, but i think (as Maarten ter Huurne does) i need a partition
table. That's the bottleneck yet.
I haven't tried to burn a disc image of a 32MB FAT12 partition because i
don't have my msx around here to test it. He's still at my elderly home. I
will test things next weekend.

Grtz,
Siebe.
