It affects all modes.
] (IIRC, running a
] game at 50Hz in a 60Hz MSX will make screen scroll).
Depends on the monitor. Some can handle 50 and 60 Hz and switch automatic.
Some can not and will start 'scrolling' when feeded with the wrong frequency.
