Hi!

I found the standard describing language codes, it's called ISO 639. You can 
find it at this URL:

There are 2-letter codes (alpha-2) and 3-letter codes (alpha-3). The 3-letter 
list contains more languages, but I doubt anyone will want to translate 
"Penguin Adventure" to Middle English. The widely used GNU gettext program 
uses the 2-letter codes.

I have a slight preference for the 2-letter codes, but it doesn't really 
matter much to me. I'd like to hear some opinions.
