Sure, the PNG is better. Also the sum is 13 Mb versus 3Mb for the pdf.
If I had the space on the web a 13 Mb PDF with equivalent quality (or same
low...) to the PNG is possible.

I prefer the PNG files. They have better quality and the PDF version is not
very clear.
