Here's a question to the hardware-techies among us:

I've got a Teac FD-135HFN-414-U PC diskdrive which was in use in one of my
old MSX's (the little critter unfortunately died, but I've got some spare
MSX's to keep me going ^_-). According to the specs either the diskdrive or
the MSX was modified in order to be able to work with one-another. The only
way I can still use the diskdrive is to plug it into my PC. But I was
wondering:

1. Which of the following was modified: a. my MSX b. the Teac diskdrive
2. If the Teac where modified, how to reverse the process? The only thing I
can see are some dipswitches ( : - open  # - closed ):
:#::::#:#

Could someone please help me? Thank you.
